excel Excel Warm-Up 5

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Smart Art exampleIn Excel open a new workbook.

Insert the SmartArt object: the Basic Cycle.

In the Smart Art Text dialog add one new shape: there should be six circles in the cycle.

Type these six labels into the circles:

  • Evaporation
  • Condensation
  • Precipitation
  • Infiltration
  • Runoff
  • Storage

Set the text to the Onyx font at 24 point size.

Scale the water cycle graphic so that it is big enough to read the text.

Set the SmartArt style to Intense Effect.

Set the Change Color to Colorful Range - Accent Colors 4 to 5.

In the Page Layout tab change Colors to Office 2007-2010

Make the title The Water Cycle using WordArt Fill: White; Outline: Blue, Accent color 1; Glow: Blue, Accent color.

In the Shape Format tab modify the WordArt title:

  1. Set the Text Fill to Standard Color Blue and then the Gradient to Dark Variation Linear Up
  2. Text Outline to White
  3. Text Effect to Glow: 5 point; Blue, Accent color 1

Place the title at the top centered with the water cycle graphic.

In a cell below the figure type your name.

In the cell below your name type your period number.

 

Done!
