If you can answer these 3 questions OUT LOUD, you will have a MUCH BETTER CHANCE of being focused during your JOB SEARCH. And to be SUCESSFUL in finding the right OPPERTUNITIES for yourself.

1. WHY DO I NEED A JOB?

Think of ALL of the reasons why... what does a job give you besides an income? You need a job for more than just making money.

   

2. WHAT KIND OF WORK WOULD I LIKE TO DO?

 

3. HOW MUCH MONEY DO I NEED TO MAKE?

Create a title page with the title “My Job Search.” Put on it:

  • your name
  • “Mt. Eden High School”
  • “Computer Applications 1”
  • period number
  • date
THE FIRST SECTION...  
 

On the next page (page 2) the first section should be titled: “My Goals” Make that Heading 1 style.

Type the three questions and write your answers to them.

1. WHY DO I NEED A JOB?

2. WHAT KIND OF WORK WOULD I LIKE TO DO?

3. HOW MUCH MONEY DO I NEED TO MAKE?

Make the typed questions Heading 2 style. Write your answers in a speaking voice: as if you were speaking, not in formal writing style. You will later be saying these things to the person that you are interviewing for the job with.

 

This is your document, you choose what fonts, sizes, styles, colors, layout, graphics and picture to use. Be creative. Be you.
