Self-Portrait
INSTRUCTIONS:
Get a picture or multiple pictures of yourself from your phone... OR use your phone to take some pictures of yourself—maybe a friend of yours could help you. OR, I WILL TAKE YOUR PICTURE AND GET IT ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR YOU!!! NO EXCUSES!
Get the picture onto your computer. I'm thinking that you know how to do that: AirDrop, email... If not I can help you do it.
Ask Yourself...
Who am I? What is my culture, spiritual path, gender identity…
What passions or subjects do I identify with? Music, dance, sports, hobbies, games, food…
What are the things that I can use to portray these things?
How I will show them in a single photoshop image?
Be Creative! & Take chances...
You MUST use more than one picture; combine them into one image. You MUST use your Photoshop skills to add to, modify and improve on your pictures. Use the filters and effects that you have learned to have some fun with it! You could cut yourself out and place you in another background, maybe a famous place or fantastical world. Make an art piece portrait.
This portrait may be a real, imaginary, symbolic or idealized view of yourself.
Somewhere on the image, type your name and at least one AFFERMATION about yourself: A statement about something that is true and POSITIVE about you.
Store your in-progress work &
TURN IN the completed version THROUGH GOOGLE CLASSROM.
